  • will it work on a D800?

    • Going out on a limb, but it should- The Nikkon site's D800 specs list UHS-1 compliant SDXC as a supported device, but for added security, maybe try shoot a question off at Amazon to see if there's any D800 owners using the card to get a more first hand confirmation :)

Jesus talk about excessive! Bigger than my SSD at probably 1% of the volume.

@JimmyBargain it's SDXC so it should work in your camera.

Reviews on bhphoto suggest it works well in D3200 and D7000 (and probably others I didn't bother to check) and so it should work with the d800 which was released around the same time as the d3200 BUT there is one review on there saying it corrupted after they used it a couple of times.

If you're making the most of the dual memory slot in your d800 in its "Backup" mode then go for it otherwise I'd definitely be weary of trusting so many photos on a single card.

Then again, that was only one review in a sea of overwhelmingly positive ones.

Dang. I remember buying a 1GB SD card for around this price 10 years ago and thought that was cheap.

Would you keep 256Gbs worth of photos on your SLR on this sd card?

    bit of a risk…

  • WOW. Been waiting for this to be easy to ship to Australia.

If anything like the USB 3 stick i have from them it'll be close to the 90MBs mark.

  • Been watching the price of this card, for weeks, it's been this price for a while.
