Works well, have it in my bedroom about 20 metres away from my modem and NAS.. Runs 2 laptops, a networked PVR and smart tv in the bedroom plus a WD live in the lounge. No complaints at all.. Hulu Plus works well as do all the files stored on my NAS.. So yeah, I'd recommend it, internet is better and more reliable in the front part of my house..

  • Been this normal price for at least the past year.

For a basic N300 range extender.. TPLink 850re is better value at $39

  • Use this as a wireless bridge to my media pc. Doesn't miss a beat.

This model only supports Wireless-N. It does not support the newer IEEE 802.11ac standard. With that in mind, you would be better off getting the Netgear AC750 (EX6100) model instead. http://www.wireless1.com.au/networking/networking-products/n…

    • Thanks , not having dual band is pretty relevant.

  • You shouldn't actually use wireless extenders unless as a bridge, as there is a performance penalty of at least 50%. You should use PowerLine adapters to hook up another router elsewhere or have one built-in to the adapter for the best performance. More info here
