D-Link one is cheaper but not sure which would be better OR any other recommendation for Wifi Range Extender?
If you want to get the Netgear WN3000RP - grab it from MSY for $59. Have one myself - it does exactly as advertised - nothing more - nothing less. The D-Link N300 can also be had for $39 at CPL, $43 at MSY if you're not in VIC.
Not a fan of the Belkin N300 range extender, have a couple of buddies who get the ocassional dropout with them and the odd self reboot of the unit.
Out of those - would definietly take the Netgear anyday.
On the other hand - a just as fantastic option would be to get a second hand Linksys WRT54G, flash DDWRT onto it and use it as a repeater. Those things have crazy functions you only find on triple-digit-pricetag enterprise routers with DDWRT installed.
