Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (Game Only $55.16 | Bundles $67.86 / $119.92) @eBay Various Sellers

150
CWORLDOFTOYS

To be released on Fri 28th Nov. Preorder now for delivery between 28/11 - 3/12. You should receive it on/before launch day if they have already received the stock & ship early.

It's SMAAAASH BROOTTHHEERRSS! Need I say more?!

No Amiibo bundle on eBay unfortunately. Game might be cheaper at BigW/Target/JB-HiFi (using 20% off voucher) at launch? Doubt the bundles will be though.

NB: All UK PAL import vers. compatible with AU consoles. Shrinkwrap sealed unlike AU vers.

Edit #1: Don't forget to go through Cash Rewards to bring the prices down even more to $53.78 / $66.19 / $116.92 respectively (2% off total before eBay code).

Edit #2: 'city_of_games' upped their price to $57.56 after 20% off… knew this would eventually happen once I posted
Best value is still the GC adaptor bundle IMHO as it's only $10.3 diff (if you need it of course). Hurry & buy before the other 2 sellers also increase their prices.

  • Have you tried this? Does it definately work? I thought games were excluded?

    • Yes, tried before posting & code can be applied in checkout.

    • definately?

      Really?

      Are you definite about that?

  • I would get in on this but i want it on day 1!!!

    • Depends if you can endure an extra 2-3days for a significantly substantial saving…means more $ for Amiibos

    • well for those in SA, i think pick up is possible from Beat the Bomb… ive picked up from there before…
however thats if they decide to work on a saturday.

me though, im just waiting til launch day and price match the best option.. hoping for a midnight release.

      • They would already have the stock so you might be able to pick it up on Fri if you ask nicely by email or instore. Try your luck!

Spelling definitely wrong is not among my bigger mistakes today. My brain is running at half speed. I spent 10 minutes checking I was buying a game that would work, and purchased 2 copies of the wrong bloody game! Epic Fail! I think it might be time for bed!

This probably doesn't affect too many people, but if you're planning on redeeming the free Smash Bros CD soundtrack from Club Nintendo when you register the Wii U and 3DS versions of the games, you can't do that with these European/UK versions of the game. Club Nintendo AU only accepts codes from Australian copies of 1st party games.

    • Thanks for this, did not know. Would I need to create an UK account or just get a UK copy of 3ds Smash Bros? I want soundtrack and Mewtwo : (

      • Yeah both games have to be from the same region. So if you already got and registered the 3ds from AUS then you need to register the AUS version of SSB Wii U.

IF you want one of this bundles and still want the soundtrack, you are going to have to buy the code of the AUS version on ebay or somewhere.

        • Got a reply from BTB confirming the bundle they are selling is the local AU ver. which would have been eligible for claiming, but you can no longer buy at that price as they removed the listing.

I think the bundle that 'beat the bomb' are selling is the AU ver. as I previously emailed them about this & they said all their games are local ver. unless specified. Also note that the packaging pic they use on their main site has the AU classification on box & the AU release date is Sat 29/11 so it shouldn't be the UK ver. which releases 1 day early. Don't take my word on this though. Best to email them directly to confirm.

The other 2 sellers are definitely selling UK ver. as they state it in the listings AFAIK.

    • So only first party games are affected? Makes sense now since have been able to redeem 3rd party games from the UK.
