Saw these at my local Coles, no price tag but I scanned them, came up as only 25c! Pretty sure this only applies to the medium grain style. Still several available at Coles West End in Brisbane. Website has them listed as $1.60.

You need to stop looking at that rice as "cooked rice" and start looking at it for what it is - saved time. Might not mean much to you, but it does to some.

Invest your time in getting a better job, so you're not filled with indignation when someone dares to not be bothered to cook their own rice.

Yeah, these are just good to have around for those lazy nights. That's why I wouldnt pay full price for them.

It says 2% fat, whilst rice is normally less than 1%…

I think most microwave rice has sunflower oil added to it, this one does.
Rice isn't that hard to cook from scratch…
