My 12 mth interest free from ANZ is running out soon. Does anyone know if the offer I took up early this year is made regularly or if any other banks are offering for existing card holders? I have a few cards (not citibank) and can shift around but my highest limit is with ANZ. I have nearly 40k so just cashed up my usual credit card and have been living off the green ever since, now crunch time!!

CBA has an ongoing one - 5.99% for 6 months from memory.
I think NAB has the same offer.

OP I would say ANZ has done it 2 to times in the past couple of years.
Citibank Simplicity - 12 months interest free on transfers and no fee for life. Just transferred to that as my ANZ 12 month was running out
Arrgghh, as I said, no Citibank, they wont give me a high enough limit to bther with. Same situation as you, my 12 month with ANZ runnng out, just hope they re-offer, was interested to know if it was something they did on a fairly regualar basis. I was already an existing customer with them, and at the time the Ozbargainers were saying the offer was out "again" so fingers crossed!
Why would they offer you interest free if you're already a customer with them? That is the reason they offer it. Maybe if you signed up another card with ANZ and balance transfer from a non-ANZ credit card.

Ozhunter, no idea why but they did and I was grateful, as were heaps of other ozbargainers at the time. 12 months interest free when I have a 40k limit? No brainer. Thanks for link will check it out:)
I am a current ANZ customer for around 18 odd months. I have just received in the mail an offer for 16months 0% balance transfer offer from another card.
Since my other card is a 28 degrees which is basically always kept at 0 balance (just for travel) I'm trying to figure out the best way to take advantage of it.
Cheque to self from Citibank (?) card then balance transfer whole amount to ANZ card. Of course you will need to apply for Citibank card first. Search OzBargain, the Citibank card and cheque to self has been mentioned many times.
I have the BMW amex card and they always send me a letter offering a balance transfer for 5.99% / 6 months whenever I am close to paying off the last balance transfer. I wonder if all amex issued cards are the same?
