Glanced at this deal just this morning… looks alright! But you may have to be a MySony member (easy enough to join?).
A full-HD Sony Bravia 46-inch KDL46EX1 model for $2299 from the MySony website.
I believe they offer free-delivery, and here is a CNET review about the TV.

May be worth price comparison with JB/Myer/etc, though.

  I assume power doesn't travel wirelessly?? The picture they use on sony style website gives an impression that no cord/cable is connected to the tv. There must be a power plug behind where you install the tv to look like this???

      But it is a special Sony Ninja cable and it will deal with you severely if you make the mistake of accidentally discovering it.

  The media streamer will only stream 1080i .. not 1080p.

  But it's a great price as most places selling it for more than $3000.

  Hey just wondering if this Tv has 1080P play back via the HDMI from its LCD panel. Apparently, the wireless media streamer will only support 1080i???????

    You can playback 1080p on the panel it self .. but it only has 1 hdmi on it.

  I received the letter (I bought a Sony LCD last year) this morning and I just have bought one :)

  I was planned to buy a smaller one for bedroom, but it's a good deal for buying a 46" sony with 40" price

  To be shipped to me on 23rd Sept. (with no shipping cost)

  Got mine tonight - absolutely love it.
  It took 11 days from order date to delivery date - with a few 'glitches' in processing along the way.
