Here’s something sweet: A straight-up, no-questions-no-sign-up-asked 30% discount at the Hurley online store just for loyal Stab readers. You might be a strugglelancer or it might be raining coloured leaves from the treetops but there’s nothing dirty about a thirty percent knife.
Use the code: Stab
Unfortunately, this side entry only allows Australian shoppers in. But for those with a golden ticket, a good start is probably John John Florence’s picks. Kid sure is partial to the darker end of the palette. The deal lasts for 48 hours. Go get some.*
*Excludes Fuse 3 boardshorts and Phantom wetsuit

  • great find, thanks op. love the barcelona walkshorts.

  • Nice. Need some new boardies soon.

  • $199 for a pair of nylon boardies you got to be bloody kidding. http://www.hurley.com.au/phantom-block-party-fuse-3-resin-me…

    • I just ordered 3 T-shirts, one pair of board shorts and one pair of walk shorts for $193. I reckon thats pretty decent. Thanks OP!

      • Thats still about $40 an item not bad but not good by any means.

Anything above $20 for a tshirt is pure profit… Nike/Hurley still use sweatshops in third world countries to make their clothes it probably costs them $2-$5.

        • I don't know where you're buying T-shirts from but if above $20 is pure profit you must either be purchasing them for under $10 or the company is running at a loss and you better stock up while you can.

A bargain is not defined by the difference in cost of manufacturing vs the sale price. Hard drives, TVs both made of relatively inexpensive materials in comparison to the sale price.

        • @kevsta89:
The actual cost of product and manufacture is very low. Workers in these countries get paid $15 a month and can probably sew about 2500 tshirts for that. Thats less than 1 cent per tshirt. Obviously that is just one component of the price. Cotton is cheap for the T-shirts. There is no way that that the resource cost of a tshirt is over $5. There are plenty of overheads like rent, shipping etc. but really per t-shirt no more than $5. So really anything over $10 is profit for someone in the chain, and going by prices in major retail outlets probably anything over $5 is profit.

Funny enough my best quality tshirt at the moment is a shirt i bought for $2. Some of the bigger brand tshirts are good quality but some are pathetic for the price.

    • You're free to shop at Lowes. (Muffled laughter)

      • -1

I buy what I consider good value that can be any brand….but if your trying to tell me that $200 for a pair of boardies is good value…enjoy paying off your credit card for the rest of your life.

  • Nike owns Hurley (Dri-Fit) Sometimes u can find Hurley bargains at Nike outlets Sample Racks ($20 Shorts/Tees)

    • Yeah I've got some of the Dri-fit chinos.

Damn comfy, haven't noticed the quick-dry effect much, but they are light and strong.

  • ordered couple jumpers and hat ive been looking for since they closed down the Hurley shop at birkenhead point. thanks op
