Get them to pricematch and if you order online you can get a further 10% off if your are an Entertainment Book Member
Yes, I know. But the reality is they are not happy to obey the promise. I don't like to deal with them to save those 10% differences.
They are dodgy, but we are ozbargainers, we stand our ground on the basis we are right and are not expecting anything unreasonable other than for them to adhere to their own ploicies.
ChemistWareHouse price match is a crock. Seems to be a consistent misleading and deceptive practices wrt to their price match.
Tried to get a price-match on a $130 TENS machine. I had a printout from an online retailer and an online chemist.
They said it had to be a chemist, not an online Chemist and then they said it had to have a physical store. It had an address on the printout, but then they said it had to be chain.
I had a printout of the terms and condition and felt like arguing, but I felt sorry for the sales assistant. They were getting the spiel from somebody, somewhere else and there was a huge line building behind me.
Bought the gadget, but bought 3 more online from Terry White's online business (for $10 cheaper a unit) and got the other ones delivered two days later.
@jimbo jones: I know, you can hear the reluctance in their tone when asking for a price match. Most times I've asked for a price match it has been straightforward, but there has been the odd occasion when I stood my ground and had to be a little more assertive.
@jimbo jones: Do they price match online stores though? I never thought many places would do that.

Should have video recorded the conversation and lodge a complain.
I went to Chemist Warehouse, Glen Waverley for the price match in July for the Priceline 1L Cetaphil Skin Cleansers saleand was rejected.
I wrote a complaint email to them and they replied:
Thank you for your enquiry, please note you are correct, Chemist Warehouse do match the price, in saying this I have contacted the Glen Waverley store and have confirmed that you will be able to purchase the product and we will match it and give you 10% off the difference! as our Terms and conditions advise.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Have a great day.
Email [email protected] to complain and you should be able to get a reply from CW for the 10% difference.
speaking of chemist warehouse, did anyone also find their security guards extremely rude? they search you like a shop lifter despite carrying a bag full of shoppings walking straight out of the checkout. their attitudes are horrible!
Agree!
Agree, I always have my handbag that is smaller than A4 size checked, one time they even touched it to check there was nothing hiding inside.
I have since checked the protocols and if your handbag is smaller than A4 size you are exempt from having it checked. Also they cannot touch it, but they can request you to move things aside if they want to see what is under something.
We don't have security guards at the ones I've been too..
I went to Chemistwarehouse Hurstville westfield this morning, They refused to match woolies's price, they said they only do match with OTHER pharmacy's.
So I think OZB can just ignore the Chemistwarehouse's price-match policy, it is just a joke.
