My sister received an email from Blizzard asking to come back and try out WoW but forwarded to me as she cannot play atm, I currently have an active account and it let me add the game time.

    Oh man.

    I played for 7 years, haven't bee back for 2 and a half. Oceanic servers coming out in a few weeks means I can finally be competitive in PvP/Arena.

    In saying that, League of Legends is now my lovechild.

    What do, I don't have enough time for two competitive games in my life!

    Just gave it a try. Didn't seem to work, gave me an error message after selecting my account. Could be because I haven't had a subscription since 2011…

      bugger, you can play free up to level 20 normally anyway I believe (there are other limitations as well) but if you are just wanting to sample it you should be able. This promo seemingly is full game access just for a week.

        I think my subscription has been frozen for too long hence the reason it might not be working.

        No biggy, happy to pay the $15 bucks to check out some of the MOP stuff prior to WOD coming out.

        Have a old buddy of mine trying to muster up a 20 man raid in preparation for WoD. Not sure if I'll be able to commit to those brutal raiding schedules any more…

          no I cannot, life gets in the way now but the LFR (as dodgey as it is sometimes) makes for decent casual raiding that suits me

    Just a fyi if you do start playing again try out http://wowgamecodes.com/usgametime/ I recently bought some time here with no problems, probably the cheapest you can get game time at the moment.

          You don't want a gaming GF. Every couple I know that games spends their whole weekends inside playing. You need a partner that doesn't game so you actually leave the house and do RL stuff once in a while, especially with a game this addictive.

          I am banned from playing WoW though, so sometimes it can backfire.

    My love finally died after the Teddy Bear expansion was released. Somewhere in between then & now I've been told that someone hacked a guild officers account and emptied the entire guild vault …….. There's no comming back from that :/
