Please accept my grovelling apology (tugs forelock morosely) if I have wronged you. But it did look a little dodgy because of the timing of the posts.
I agree that the early bird catches the worm but who'd expect you to be awake at the ungodly hour of 4-6am on a Monday morning?
well the orginal url took you to their homepage which i should have mentioned had a clock timer simillar to COTD and zazz which started @ midnight.
So with these "one day sale" sites that start at midnight the bargins are freshest in crazy early morning.
Again not being awake at the time dosent make the deal less of a bargain…nor spam.

I would be intersted to hear if anyone has bought from them before as their site doesn't inspire confidence with the dodgy graphics.Sometimes a really good looking website is the most dangerous ;)

This deal actually first showed up at about 11pm last night on Buckscoop and not here(can't find the original link now). The clock then showed 55 minutes left. I ordered two and paid with Paypal - got a message after getting back to their site stating there was a problem. Dropped them a mail this morning and got a prompt replt saying my order was accepted and would be sent.
“Account currently on hold.”…oh didnt see that, makes me more skeptical now!

beside bargainbrowser has anyone else got their order or have their order updated or even recive an email from these guys……store appears to be dodgier each day nothing happens.

Just got my stick in the mail via Auspost regeistred post.
it doesnt come in a packet but just the stick.
There is TDK secuirty progam on it.
Plugged it in laptop and it says its 7.43gb, so all good.
then used the software h2testw_1.4 that checks for fake SD cards and USB sticks, the output is below and looks like its fast and all correct…..wish I bought more :(

Mates! I just got this eParcel and found wrong usb disk 'adata' not TDK (I was not notified earlier about this) without a box or any documentation (later knew it was not a retail version) and when plugged into computer even doesn't work. I've asked for replacement or refund…
Well, I had to revise my comments. Positive points - found customer service responsive and fast, can make tempting offers and have promised to replace out-of-stock TDK with 8GB SanDisk Micro Cruzer Skin at no extra cost, sounds good but let's wait and see what really comes at my door…till then ciao!

I've never heard of an OEM usb drive before, it just sound suspicious.YESS!! I got a SanDisk Micro Cruzer Skin 8GB as a replacement through express post today. It came without original box and they call it OEM drive, whatever.
First I was sent a faulty 'adata' so this time used few tools - H2testw v1.4 and HDTach-3-0-4-0. The results are writing speed: 9.66 MByte/s, reading speed: 20.4 MByte/s….that's cruzing mate! transfer speed is amaizing. Finally a happy customer again and thank you.
@lessismore8848: Got mine Cruzer yesterday as well. Work perfect and feel solid. Writing speed is similar to what you have, but reading speed was about 30Mb/s.
I was a send a Lexar originally (very poor quality but was working), reading speed was about 17 Mb/s and writing speed was about 10 Mb/s which is ok, but not happy with the quality, so I contacted them and they said they will send me the Cruzer for free. I ended up paying them $10 extra to keep the Lexar instead of sending it back to them. I am happy with the purchased now and hoppefully the two drives will last and not die suddenly.
I am very happy with their customer service though.
Paypal dispute was closed. As long as the seller sends something then they will offer no protection.
I got some Lexars instead of TDKs.
Read/write is ~ 20/10
