Today I saw at Target their Skylanders Swap Force Clearance

Light Core Figures - $7
Normal Core Figures - $5
Three Packs - $14
Starter Pack - $34

Just to clear up, the cheapest price for the starter packs are at JB Hi-Fi, costing only $25. But unless someone knows otherwise I'm pretty confident this is the cheapest anyone is selling the figures right now =)

  • Sheep Wreck Island Adventure Pack is available online for $14 (was $24 recently)

  • Is that a good price for the Starter Pack? I'm looking for one for either the PS3 or Wii version. Anywhere cheaper?

    • Was $25 at JB the other day…

    • JB HiFi have done it again. $25.

    • Starter pack is $25 at JB HiFi, use the search function here or just search their catalogue. Good price for the swappable characters which is all you need. Google 'minimum skylanders swap force needed' ore something like that. Guides available to get the last amount of characters to play all the content.

      • As long as they are not exhausted and need to go to sleep…

  • We found out today that the Giants game (e.g. from Portal Owners starter pack) can use the Swap Force portal on XBOX 360.

    • Most of the portals are backwards compatible. So at the moment you should only need the Trap Team portal to play all the games.

  • Sweet.. will pickup a few tomorrow. Thanks.

  • I think the cheapest figurines - assuming that you don't have the Starter Packs - are JB's original Spyro's Adventure Starter Pack currently for $10 (three figurines) and Skylanders GIANTS Starter Pack currently for $15 (also three figurines).

    • Kmart for ages now have had their old giants stock for $5 each. But I just meant swap force figures in this post.

      • All good, just as these figures work with even the latest Trap Team I thought it quite nice and bargainy. :)

        • Haha, I know all about their compatibility, I won't tell you how many I own =P

  • Kmart have had the starter packs for $29 and 3 pack for $15 for a month.

  • Probably a silly question but are these for the Ps3 game?

    • They're all the same mate, platform independent. Except for the starter pack, which you purchase for whichever platform you want to play on.

I've purposely kept my son away from Skylanders after buying the Wii U basic Mario Kart 8 deal.
Been waiting for the new game to come out so we could nab heavily discounted figures so when he does play, he can do so unhindered.

The articles above should help with a 'hit list' of figures so you don't waste extra $$$ on figures that don't help you unlock stuff in the game.

    • I was sucked in, came free with the Wii U and thought it would never get played. The daughter loves them all so probably spent $125 on stuff I never would have bought. Some of the non-swappable chracters are my favourites though.

    • I did the same when swap force came out. My average price would be ~5$ a figure but even at that rate i would of spent $200+ on skylanders figurines for my son. They make great stocking fillers/ small gifts. Just spent another 75$ picking up 15 new figurines here, xmas and bday covered for another year, he loves it and for his age the games are quite thought provoking and challenging even on easy.

  • JB has all the Skylanders Swap Force characters for $5 now, so they are the cheapest. Hard to find stock though.

    • Yeah the Glen JB only has hoot loop, about 20 of

  • Just went to my local Target and all their Swap Force figures are gone. They had heaps and heaps of them before Trap Team came out so I presume they were all backloaded through the system. If anyone in Townsville finds cheap ones please let me know, need a couple of swappable ones so I can unlock all the content.

    • Probably best to put in an order with a sympathetic OzBargainer from a location close to a store with stock.

      • By the time I compensate someone and pay shipping I'm not site there'd be savings. Went to two targets and two JBs which didn't have stock.

        • So, there's getting the items you want or not getting them.

        • @roughana:

Went back in and they were literally putting them back on the shelves as I was there. Said they didn't want them out the same time as trap team launching. Got four swappable characters for $28.

  • I went to the Target at Bondi Junction and they had an extensive selection available of all the character types, including the Swap-Force figures. They were still bringing out more stock as well, so it doesn't look like they'll run out too quickly.
