    I did the old trick of adding a cheap bottle of wine.

      does anyone ever actually get money from one of these cashback programs? I spent about $1k in Jan and Dan's keep claiming they "can't locate it" then i raise a new ticket. I should mention this is not with cashrewards but with another provider..

        I have redeemed about $400 through my work travel (book through expedia then get the cashback), and through Living social and Dan Murphys, so it definitely works

        CashRewards is the best one i think. Qwibble is pretty good. StartHere is sucky

    do you still get the cashback using giftcards? In the past it was ok with starthere but now qwibble and cashrewards changed their TC saying you cannot get cashback if paying with giftcards. Only starthere doesn't mention it.

        Mine showed up today, ordered this morning!
        but even though i've picked it up and all is complete, in past experiences i wont see the money cleared for 6 months plus..
        ridiculous wait time but you have no control.
        I've complained in the past and was told they need to wait for the return period to pass, but DM customer support say there is none.
        And only 1 purchase through cashrewards from DM's was rejected, no explanation given and a few dollars missed out on but again as a customer you have no control.

          It should never take as long as 6 months unless its something like a travel booking which you cancel up to the date of your stay. Did this occur with Cash Rewards or another provider?

          The wait time is for the return period to pass and the store to confirm the sale and check everything is in order (no dodgy credit cards used etc)

          This varies from store to store and takes on average under 50 days.

          We are working with our stores to reduce this time and hope to have some significant reductions in approval times flowing through from a few of our most popular stores shortly.

      I received the delivery about 2 weeks ago, and still no cash reward showing up on my cashrewards account.

      I made sure to close all windows, log off everything (but cashrewards) and then made the purchase by clicking through the cash rewards website. If my reward is never given to me, I'm pretty sure Dan Murphy is intentionally not honouring the deal with Cash Rewards.

      When I used CashRewards for AVIS, the reward showed up in less than a day, even though the booking was still subject to payment on site.

      Disappointing..
