Went to check the specs of the new iPad mini 3 and notice the price tag of $499 for 16gb wifi, so i check the refurbished and the iPad mini with retina 16gb was $319 which is the cheapest by far that i could find.
Enjoy

Lists old and new prices
I'd rather buy a New iPad mini 2 for $50 more, can lick it like candy !
Its funny how people on eBay still have used iPad mini 1 @ 16GB & 32GB for $300 and $400+… O.o
Patience my friend.
A iPad Mini 2 new is now 370, and there is a good chance that other stores will be clearing stock in the near future.
The refurb shop and price should be there for a while yet.
Why would they clear a product that isn't being discontinued.
Certainly more attractive after seeing the specs of the new mini
How does the new mini compare? I was considering buying my 6yo a mini (first one) after she decided to save up for a tablet but we went with cheap 2013 N7 after seeing that the mini1 was relatively old tech.
It's essentially exactly the same as a Mini 2, but with the fingerprint scanner.
The iPad mini 3 is literally Malibu Stacey With a New Hat compared to the iPad mini 2
yeah, but she has a New Hat!
True Dat.
Buy the mini 2 if u want a mini 3.
Next year we'll get front facing speakers
I doubt it.
I wouldn't recommend this. I sold mine because I couldn't keep more than 3 tabs open in Safari. The lack of RAM really shows on this tablet and the iPad Air 1
Yup its true the Safari Crash issue started after iOS7, the bottleneck being the 1GB RAM @ 2048x1536 res.
Wouldn't that be a problem on the iPad Air too since it has 1GB RAM too?
edit: its the same CPU, just going by what people think the issue is…
However, I don't know if iOS8 has changed anything, can't see people with iOS8 complaining…
@buzzlight9:
OS8 on an iPad Mini 1 is slow compared to OS7.
They do, although from memory the Mini was clocked marginally slower.
iOS 7.0 was a bit of a pig of a release…it came with plenty of stability issues. iOS 7.1 was a big improvement in that regard. Certainly the iPad should be able to run Safari with quite a few tabs open…I frequently have 10 - 20 open on my iPad Air.
You haven't seem Safari crashing until you've used an iPad 1 lol
I managed to make my iPad air crash about six times in a minute with Safari. iOS8 has fixed up browser crashing for me, just introduced other annoying issues.
Cheaper than ebay's 15% off sale for Aussie stock…from just a month ago.

The one on your link is new grey stock, this one in the Apple store is refurbished
New grey stock is the same thing though. Don't get caught up by sales jargon.
great price
