We’ve decided to introduce such solution specially for you to check the quality of 3D printing with Zortrax. Samples were designed to perfectly capture the mechanical properties of the prints.

Free Sample Set includes:

BOX – check precisely mapped dimensions, perfectly matching parts. Z-ABS material is suitable for printing mechanical elements which must work together in a single mechanism.

KEYCHAIN – to check flexibility and durability of Z-ABS and 3D printing with Zortrax M-200.

  It is an extruded 3d printer so will never compare to something like an objet or voxeljet. You will definately be able to see the extruded layers in the print. My experience with extruded prints is if the vertical walls are thin the extruded layers will delaminate. You also have the problem that the printer uses no support material, this means you need to design supports in to allow for overhangs, this really limits to complexity of prints that can be created from a printer like this.

    True that but hey its free right and you notice they have specially chosen parts with no need for support and that look good. I think when you go with a objet that is a very expesnive machine you expect a quality result.

      fair fair I'm an engineering teacher at TAFE and would like to get one of these to play around with to either teach in the future or maybe get into the concept design game
