  Indeed. Although Halloween isn't a USA holiday, the USA is culturally dominant in the celebrations. Every year sweets manufacturers try and push this holiday onto Australia but it thankfully doesn't look like it's taking hold. I haven't seen a trick or treater in my suburb for years.
