Even with the discount Civ BE is still grossly overpriced, the Australia tax is huge on this title; $49.95 from Amazon, $89.95 for Australians.
No way will I give 2K Games my money with that kind of gouging.

also, GMG have a new ANZ code

    GMGAUS-30J9MF-MUINWW

to give you 30% off affected games (mainly 2k).

    Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (AU)
    $69.95
    PC Download
    30% OFF Voucher
    − $20.98 GMGAUS-30J9MF-MUINWW
    Sid Meier's Civilization®: Beyond Earth™ (AU)
    $89.85
    PC Download
    30% OFF Voucher
    − $26.95 GMGAUS-30J9MF-MUINWW
    Total you pay
    $111.87

still not cheap enough, I want to go to Russia.

    • That's awful, you're better off not using the code on Civilization!!!

    • Why in my PC it say Unable to add voucher?

  • Edit: Nevermind

  • Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is ~ $40 AUD at Nuuvem:

    http://www.nuuvem.com.br/produto/2282-borderlands-the-pre-se…

  • Get the US price if I use a VPN but it wont let me add the voucher…no purchase for me.

That's because it's an ANZ code..

You don't need it for the US price as they're not being gouged like we are, hence why GMG bring out the codes as they were forced by a few publishers a while ago to increase their prices for ANZ customers.

I'd say don't support the australian tax, go around it. If the market does not accept being pushed around, no amount of laws can stop it.

  • Got a copy of Borderlands. Price is in USD though, so cost me $56.37AUD.

  • Sign up is broken keeps complaining of missing fields. Tried different browsers.

Cheaper here: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/165125 - but unsure on DLC.
