    Great price for the LG. If people are after a similar monitor a bit cheaper, there's the AOC U3477PQU - same resolution, but not as fancy chassis - $899 at a bunch of PC stores via Staticice.

      Yeah, I actually see these dropping quite a bit once the curved version replaced it and the AOC/Dell are more readily available.

    • Agreed, but the AOC U3477PQU (as mentioned above) is a better deal. I hadn't heard of it before now but that's not bad assuming it doesn't lose features we need and isn't a quality step backwards from the LG, which is admittedly very nice.

      I'll wait until 2015, it sounds like these are headed for a big price drop.

        quite a few complaints of IPS glow on the 34UM95

        LG are also pushing the new curved 34UC97 model (stupidly priced at $1800)
