At bunnings you can get Highgrove glass panels for around $74 per metre. Stainless Steel posts are $110 each. So it costs $184 per metre of glass balustrade from Bunnings.

You need two posts ONLY for the first panel and when that panel is NOT adjacent to a wall. Instead of a post your first panel could use these:
