Albeit, $55 dearer
I don't think the manufacturer is too fussed about how the brand name sounds, so long as the TV's are big screened, and are cheap they will practically sell themselves.
There's a brand name that i've never heard of before today.
After doing some googling found there's a thread on Whirlpool about this Bexa branded TV. Apparently going by the Whrilpool thread this Bexa is another brand name of Soniq.
I bought a Soniq Plasma from JB. It was a genuine "more expensive brand" panel and was fantastic. Or so I thought…here is the thread at Whirlpool that is a tad negative on the Soniq experience.

I don't think poorer quality TV's have enough brightness and that is really important.
Just wait for the Seiki one for sale at Dick if you thinking of getting this one, at least Seiki is better recognised in OzB due to past deals.
Seiki Dick. Got it!
Why neg this comment? Its a valid opinion. +1 to even it out
3 Years Warranty is Good.
Any Reviews from users?
Are you fine with it being basically a rebranded Soniq?. You could directly compare this TV to an equivalent 50" (or approximate sized) Soniq TV.
"Hmmm..scrap the idea. Bexa, I have found out, is another brand name of Soniq."
i bought a 32inch bexa plasma 5 years ago. it gets used daily and is still going strong
in that case qinos would have been better than bexa. sounds like a headache cure.
We have a 32" Soniq LED in our bedroom, does full hi-res and cost a whole $199. It has a picture quality equal of more expensive brands and it's been going a few years without a hitch. Our only complaint would be the tinny sound, but that's a problem with most flat panels now. We know a few others with various size Soniqs who are similarly happy with their reliability, they appear to be the Toyota Corolla of tellies, cheap and cheerful.
People still buy 50Hz large screen TVs?
I have 200Hz led,how to tell the difference?
apparently you lie upside down on the sofa and close your eyes, so you can barely see through your eyelids, turn it on to say X-Factor, and while watching both TV's at once you'll notice that extra 150Hz in how quick the camera pans from Danni to Redfoo
Too hard to follow
Aldi has 55" led for $599 starting on Saturday
The Seiki 55" 100hz LED absolutely DESTROYS the Bexa in terms of quality, size, specification and price when on special at Dick Smith, which is quite often.
I've seen the Seiki 55" for as low as $474 Delivered Australia wide.
I paid approx $514 delivered, and still think its an absolute bargain, considered buying another one, and have told all friends and family to jump on the deal next time its offered.
Someone has a vendetta against your opinions :-P
Really, I get negged for sharing my experience and information on both TV's? Well done, great to be here!
All these funny brand TV's showing up all of a sudden :)
