    • agreed, nobody would pay $64.99 for refinished balls.

      • I hope these balls shoot straighter than the seller…

I accidentally voted this deal up instead of down but have fixed.

      • +1

Fixing the title on OzB doesn't change the fact that the $64.99 price stated on their website is still misleading, and that the "refinished" is in the fine print!

  • I doubt you'd find Adam Scott, John Senden, Ricky Fowler using refinished balls!
Problem is, you can't even guarantee that these are/were V1s in the first place!

"We would not recommend recycled Titleist golf balls for anyone's game - regardless of a person's ability. Arguably, the consistency of a new, pristine golf ball is more beneficial to a higher handicap as it provides a better opportunity to shoot lower scores. If you are a golfer with mid to high handicap who plays with whatever golf ball you find in the pond or in your bag, you are not allowing yourself to shoot the best score possible. Hitting more greens in regulation is game changing, and continuing to develop a more consistent short game will provide golfers with the best opportunity to lower their scores. If you are playing with different golf balls on every hole, it becomes very difficult to become consistent. You should practice with the same golf ball as you have in play, and you should always play with the same golf ball brand and model on every hole of every round and for every round to have the best chance of lowering your score."

    TEAM TITLEIST

    • The company making/selling new balls isn't going to recommend people buy used ones.
That said, I'm not about to buy recycled balls.

  • Also curious as to how you can rate these MINT grade? That is unless you posses some sort of technology for checking the core.

"Refurbished, or sometimes called reconditioned, golf balls are very different from used. With a refurbished ball, they take a used ball, repaint it, and place a new logo on it so it looks brand new. This may not be the best to play with because you have to “hit and hope.” You have to hit the ball and hope that the refurbished ball you are using has a good dense core and hasn’t been overplayed. Refurbished balls may not have ratings because it would be very hard for someone to estimate the condition of the core of the ball. The ball looks brand new, yet it can have over 20 rounds on it. Refurbished would be good for practice, but they are not recommended for serious rounds."

  • I bought 50 Titleist Pro V1x 332 MINT for $75 delivered during the Ebay 15% off deal (Pro V1s were going for the same price). Would set you back $89 delivered now.

Quick search on Ebay has a dozen MINT for $26.31 delivered

  • All these years of golfing and I thought that first letter was an F. TIL.

    • Aside from the missing short stroke on the F, you seem to be correct, it is much closer to a cursive F, than a cursive T (which has a rounder/circular entry and and a straight finish).

  • Just leaving my 2c. Don't buy refinished balls.
