I own a very similar model - the next one up it plays blu rays and DLNA as well, but the same speakers, overall I am happy with it- makes a nice little sound system and DVD player for my TV and has proven to be fairly capable at playing a variety of video files. But you should know the bass reproduction is a little lacking- a little flabby, it's hard to explain but all the bass sounds seem to get reproduced at the same narrow frequency range. I'm not some mad basshead. Mostly you don't notice it but I have a few favourite tracks that just don't sound as good as they should. Think Ray Manzarek's keyboard bass for the Doors
