  • Awesome game (which although followed in Minecraft's footsteps) started a whole series of similar 2D sidescrolling sandbox games (eg Edge of Space, Starbound, King Arthur's Gold, Asteria, etc).

Have logged over 250 hours on this and will occasionally continue revisiting this game due to the new content they keep releasing.

  • Is a brilliant game :)

  • can you play with 2 players?

    • Up to 4 players co-op.

      • sorry, meant 2 players in LOCAL mode not online mode…

        • Yep, can play lan games as well. I think I put in hundreds of hours in this game with my Mrs. You need 2 copies of the game, each PC running 1 copy though.

You can't play 2 players from 1 PC if that's what you are asking.

        • @shadowarrior: yep, thanks…that was the answer i was looking for…

        • @shadowarrior: Do you need to buy two copies for LAN because GOG really don't want you to! ("This order can only be gifted as it contains an item you already own.")

        • @McFly: Does GOG also give you DRM free copies? Then simply install and run a copy of the game in each PC.

          My usual run was:
          - Run a server in 1 PC. Set this up to do auto-save etc. Make it lan only/internet etc.
          - Run a copy of the game as Player 1 from same PC. (I used my main PC for both of this)
          - Run another copy of the game as Player 2 from the other PC.

That's how me and the Mrs played while everything was getting saved in the server..so either of us could even switch around characters etc as going out of the game world as a player didn't affect the hosted game.

          Yes. Thanks.
