  • Like the w6000 I bought off you but with 3d right? Yeah, that thing is pretty cool, can use it fairly well in a normal lit room…obviously not as good as a dark room…

    • There's a detailed personal review above that says it's like a 20% increase across the board, compared to his W7000.

For anyone without a projector, calling themselves a movie buff… you need to ignore any dusty, old crap stories you've ever heard about projectors, and checkout a proper modern setup. It's insane. And at this price point… Jesus!!

Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to give fresh water in the desert, only met with skepticism. As they say… "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink"

      • Although that Said 70-80inch TVs are getting to this price range, given my screen is 100" 4:3 there really isn't much difference between an 80" LCD… That said, the projector Wight and space are also adventgious!

        • 80" TVs even just double the price of these kinda PJs are turd quality. 100" is 56% bigger area than 80", and one dial makes the image double the 80"s screen area. There's an internet full of reasons why PJs trump 80" TVs.

          80" 4:3? Upgrade 10yrs overdue.

  • Man, so tempted. The main thing stopping me pulling the trigger is the terrible globe life.

    • Huh? It's standard & lamps are cheap.

Watch a 2hr movie every-single-night for 4 years. Spend ~$200 to go again.

      • Yeah, but 2000 hours seems a bit low for a projector. The standard these days are 5000-6000 hours.

Hi folks, sorry I haven't jumped on here any sooner, it's been crazy in the shop.
Just thought I'd add a couple of things to the conversation.
Lamp life for the W7500 is around 3000 hours, which is not as good as some but with a replacement cost of about $300 it works out to about 10c an hour to run.
When you take in to account that a lot of TVs don't last much longer than 5 years these days, simply having the ability to revive your projector with a new lamp is a big plus for projectors.
Also if you want to know how much it would cost to add the screen and mount etc to this projector, we have a pack that we put together for $2699.00……

    • Isn't that just $20 cheaper than buying individually?
(Or am I looking at the wrong parts?)

      • +1

You may be looking at the wrong parts, just the 110" Showtime screen by it's self is $619.00.
Then there's another $100 in the mount and 10 mt HDMI. So the screen pack gets you $720 worth for an extra $500 :)

        • Ah, cool. Thank you for clearing that up.
What's the best price you can do for the same deal but with a 150" screen?

        • +1

          We can do $2879 with a 150" Showtime screen, or $2779 with a 150" TCC screen :)

hi rep, i have a benq projector, how do you clean the outside glass? i just cant get rid of finger print marks…..

      • Best way to clean the lens is to use a microfiber cloth and a lens cleaning solution.
Lightly spray the cloth, (don't spray directly onto the lens), the gently clean the prints off.
Hope that helps a little :)

  • If it had free delivery I would have jumped on this,$65 for delivery to me :( .

    • +2

Sorry Whitey, the price that they're at is already below cost so that we can clear them out. We can organise for you to pick one up from one of our interstate warehouses if that helps at all, that way there's no freight costs.

  • I'm only 3 and a half hours drive from Sydney, $65 seems very steep to me. When you use the freight calculator which state does it calculate the freight from, WA? If this is the case, can I get a quote for freight from Sydney?

    • +1

The freight is actually calculated from our head office in Melbourne, but we can certainly save you some $$ by shipping out of our Sydney warehouse. Just let me know your postcode and I'll work out a revised shipping cost for you. :)

  • It's 2590, thanks.

    • +1

Thanks Whitey, that would make shipping to your place just $35.00 :)
