Rain/Wind Jacket & Thermals

Hi Guys,

Am going rock climbing at point perp and may need a wind/rain jacket to help and was wondering if you guys would recommend anything for this or know of any sales on. Am looking around currently. Likewise I may need some thermal stuff too.

    locally perhaps check out macpac, snowgum, paddy pallin, mountain designs? :)

      Mountain designs is in brisbane, although they don't really seem that cheap. Same with paddypallin. But I had neglected to think of them so thanks for pointing them out, looked through them all.

    Rays Outdoors has thermals and I'm guessing they have jackets as well. I don't know how well they compare against the other companies.

      Was looking at rays outdoors as they seem to be decently priced. Them and kathmandu don't seem to be too bad, and maybe BCF.

    Kathmandu currently have a sale. Also have a number of jackets/thermals in their clearance section.

      Thanks, I ended up getting a goretex from there. It was $150 but so so so so many people raved about it, I had to bite my tongue and get it.
