  • Ah! You beat me to posting this :)
Looks like a better deal than this week's Morning Glory Tuesday sale…although I have a really poor memory.

  • It's a good deal for those who also want to visit Singapore as all of these flights stopover there. I've already been to Singapore twice last year and I feel like I've seen/done everything there already so there's no real incentive stopping overthere :(

Probably the only reason I'm going back to Singapore are the hawker places. :)

    • +3

      Yep, and the Chilli Crab

      • Cereal prawns :)

club zook? the only club i know where doing hand signals to songs in a club like a boyband is cool,

  • If you want to visit Singapore, how do you extend your stop over in SG?

  • Its not the cheapest deal yet from Flyscoot. and this is for next year Mar till Oct so still can wait :)

  • come to Melbourne, please

Anyone know if Scoot customers are eligible for the SG$40 voucher in this deal :

PS. Scoot is wholly owned by Singapore Airlines.

The voucher is only for Singapore Airlines customers, Scoot is by every means a separate company, and you receive no SIA benefits while flying them.

      • yes make sense

When flying Scoot with checked baggage, make sure both of your tickets list any luggage you have pre paid.

I had the annoying situation where my return ticket listed my 20kg checked baggage, but my ticket for the flight over did not.. I had to pay $200 in baggage fees.

In general this seems to be where Scoot make their money, even if you are 1kg over you will get hit with hefty excess baggage fees. So if you think you will be bringing stuff home, prepay for the bigger baggage allowance when you buy your ticket..

But your purchase receipt should have had the details of your purchase details.

Did you chase them for the money back after you get back to Australia?

      • +1

Thanks. I just checked my receipt and I purchased a FlyBag ticket.

According to Scoot website this should include 20kg of baggage ( http://www.flyscoot.com/index.php/en/flybag )

So I will be chasing them up for sure.. shifty buggers
