My daughter who is nuts about loom bands noticed a sale on their Facebook page:

I already bought these items from this store a few months ago when they were close to $15 - $25 each to replace a generic loom which broke. My kids' Rainbow Looms have endured daily use and have still not broken so this is a great deal IMHO.

Speaking from personal experience, the store was very quick to respond to my emails and my first express post order arrived overnight. The kids were absolutely ecstatic!

The looms are authentic as we could enter a code on the Rainbow Loom website to verify their authenticity. I also had to buy over 20 bags of refills on sale a few weeks ago and the shipping came to only $5.90 which is nice.

Not sure when the deal ends but it says "for a limited time only" on their Facebook page.

      Yeah possibly, every kid seems to have at least one of these items already. My daughters are still nuts about making them so I still spend a lot of time buying rubber bands for them and picking them out of the vacuum cleaner head…

    Don't know about Sydney but Adelaide prices are still around $25 for the new edition loom and $15 for the Fishtail.

    A lot of places are dropping their prices on generic brand rubber bands too but I'm yet to see the genuines drop price. I've actually found it cheaper to buy straight from rainbowloom.com and get them shipped here - it works out cheaper for genuine bands even with shipping and rate conversion.

      I saw genuines dropped to about $3.50 on this site which was worth stocking up on plus $5.90 for shipping, might make it similar price to ordering from the US. I order locally so I don't have to hear: "have they arrived yet?" for weeks LOL

        Genuines are $15 for 5 at Spotlight at the moment, and the boards are also on sale for $10 each, the new hooks are stupidly also pieced at $10. Didn't pay attention to the Monster Tail but it was also on sale. I was pretty excited.

        The US RL store also has some unique bands, like the double layered collection and colour changing, plus mixed pastels! I ordered some a week ago, can't wait until they arrive.

    So let me get this straight…
    For 6.95 I can get a metal hook, and for 9.95 I can get the loom including a metal hook?

      Yeah, the price difference used to be bigger I guess. The metal hooks bought alone are coloured… and the one which comes with the loom is a default beige colour. My eldest wanted the blue one, my other wanted the pink. I got conned into buying one each!
