GLOBAL Nigiri 5pc Knife Block $199 (66% OFF on Kitchenware Direct eBay Group Deal)

80

I have a set of Global Ikasu 7 Piece Knife Block. I paid $300 for it a year ago.
The knives worth every cents I paid for and they are still going strong after one year use. I use them everyday.
Personally I use the cooks knife and the vegetable knife most often and owning 6 knives is a bit over-kill for me.
I think I'd prefer this set if there was a choice when I bought mine. It's $100 cheaper….

ADD:
Credit to Merlict and nismo, apparently kitchenwaredirect has it for $199 plus $7.50 postage.

    Good deal! However…

…Globals are very, very, very light (too light for me). Would recommend trying them first before spending the cash - I'm glad I did, decided German knives were more my thing.

Interesting to know you like your knife heavier. I actually love how light the Global knives are.

    • Had mine for 7 years and I love how light they are too. They are excellent for chopping. Also slicing. Occasionally dicing and an infrequent julienne.

Eh.. Not hating because it's still the cheapest, but the $599 RRP is just laughable

http://www.kitchenwaredirect.com.au/Global-Nigiri-5pc-Knife-… , and most places have it for ~$250 . Just wouldn't want people rushing to this deal without checking the options.

    • http://www.kitchenwaredirect.com.au/Global-Nigiri-5pc-Knife-… is $199 plus $7.50 postage. I wouldn't call that ~ $250

      • Obviously. That's the best 'once in a lifetime special' (lol), and the others are higher.

    • I agree buying from kitchenwaredirect maybe better than ebay, and the RRP is laughable. But kitchenwaredirect has the same laughable price as the RRP as well.
Anyway, I'll add this option to the post. Thanks.

damn didn't realise kitchenware direct had an ebay store, could have gotten it for $170 during the 15% off sale!

    Don't forget cashreward too

  • Was going to say $199 is a pretty standard price…not a huge saving at all.
