      • lol, i didnt even say the price… i bought them [8gb kingston usb] for $15 each… so i bought 2 :P

        • LOL coz I know you get it cheap there :D
Next time do OzB a favour buy bulk and dispatch for our members :)

  • where do you put in the code for free shipping ?

    • on the website itself. Go to checkout and it will give you option in the last step to add shipping code.

  • Yeah I saw the 9289 deal. However, you had to go pick it up from the shop. This deal is cheapest i've seen with free delivery. Hopefully, 15 dollars with delivery becomes the norm.

  • BTW how the quality/ speed LG vs Kingston/Sandisk?

    • The speed is mentioned:

      USB Spec 2.0 : Read (10.0 Mb/s), Write (64MB below : 4.0 Mb/s, 128MB above : 8.0 Mb/s)

That is 8 megaBITS per second or essentially USB 1.1 speeds. It would take over two hours to fill this thing up! Damn!

      • well it says Mb/s while above in usb 1.1/2 section it lists megabits as Mbits (though it also mentions sample file size as MB so you could be right), could be megabytes which would come to just under 16mins for 7450MB which is ok write speed for a cheap usb

        • i would say they're mbytes. the slowest usb i've used (think 64MB) still read faster than 10mbits/s. more like 3 or 4 mbytes/s. so i doubt this new cheap stuff reads at 10mbits/s
