There's plenty of cheaper local options. (Not including delivery) MSY has them for $78.

If you look at non-Samsung SSDs there's also the Transcend 128GB at $72.

How much is delivery from MSY?

      • +7

Why would you ask such a question? MSY is free pick up instore.

Also cheaper in at least 3 other ebay store including delivery. This price is nothing short of average. Not really a deal.

It always amazes me that people think pick-up in-store is a deal. You either don't add in your transport costs or you live close to EVERY store. MSY don't give you an option to calculate freight until the end of the checkout process. I live 1400km from the nearest MSY store in a regional post code. Even my brother who lives in the center of Sydney has to factor in train or bus costs when purchasing "locally". Freight cost is ALWAYS an issue and pick-up is NEVER an option for me.

I agree it doesn't rate as a bargain and the OP should have at least checked other pricings however dismissing the freight as irrelevant shows a very small world view.

        • @bigpallooka: there is trade off between time getting the item on hands and paying delivery & waiting for item to receive.

        • @Oz Bargain 3: I'm not really sure what your point is. If you don't have the option to pick-up, the waiting time is irrelevant. My clearly explained point is that any statement that implies cost for freight options is not an essential part of a bargain is short-sighted and implies everyone on this forum lives close to every shop that every bargain relates to which of course is ridiculous. Many of us rely on freight as our only option.
          Regards

    • all praise for Transcend, no issues whatsoever for 2 months now.

  • All the shops are around that price now. If you are regional postage costs would be an issue though.

I recently bought something from these guys using the recent eBay discount. Postage was included and got couriered to my door the next day (Sydney to Sydney). If you find a bargain, I'd recommend buying from these guys. Just my copper two cents.

Ditto. Bought this SSD on Tuesday for $73 after discount. Should be delivered today.

Then why the up vote? I did the same thing as you on Monday. So where's the deal here?
