    How did the res on these get worse? I purchased a Kogan 1080p 30" ages ago for ~$200.

    They're fine if you don't particularly care about exact colour accuracy or refresh rates or any fancy things.

    Eh, they're alright. I do think Kogan TVs have fallen in quality over the past year or so, as they used to be quite well built and comparable to the larger brands. Now they're really on par with all the other cheap brands out there.
