  • Looks like I have to buy more Sony vouchers from Amazon…

    • ^ me too!

    • Me too. Probably just for Tomb Raider.

      • +2

Tomb Raider is an awesome game, have it on PS3 and PC already, but why not have it also for PS4 :-)

  • You have to be a US Playstation Plus member to get the 10% discount…

      For PSN US members sale:

You do realise that PSN and PS Plus are completely different things?

I have a US PSN account which I use to purchase games, but I do not pay a monthly/annual subscription for PS Plus which is required to get the 10% off.

        • +1

Correct, i forgot to add the +.

    • But still $20 for a PS4 game is good value.

      • +1

Good value and is less than half the price of a shipped physical copy, but discount alluded to in the post is only available to US PS Plus subscribers.

  • Damn you Sony…

Have to buy Thief and Murdered now.

    • Are they good games?

      • +1

They are both OK I heard. Neither are big hits but Murdered especially is supposed to be a good story and is something a bit different than the norm.

  • Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

I have been holding out getting a US account but it simply looks like EU is never going to get sales like this

    • +1

You should get one, it is really useful. Cheap games and you can get cheap gift cards to utilise in the store from Amazon during their Black Friday sales.

Just run two accounts on your Playstation, really easy to do.

      • +2

Yep. It took me a while to figure this out.
PSN US games are SOOO much better valued.

        • Yeah I know :-/

If only you could flip accounts on the fly on VITA

        • Speaking of running two accounts for better value, run each account on two PS4's to split the game cost. ie US$17.99 for the game on two PS4 consoles, which is US$9 each.

Folks please PM me if interested to split costs.

  • I have two accounts, but only use the US one for Netflix. If I buy a US PSN game, will it be accessible on my AU account?

    • Never tried it, will have to when I get home from work. I just log into my US account if I want to play games that I have purchased…

    • Yes. I always buy US PSN games and use my EU account to play and save on my PS3. But be aware that if you use EU account to play games, the saves are only accessible from your EU account.

  • bought TRDE!

  • This post needs to be edited to show both the Sale price and the PS Plus price. PSN Member is meaningless.

Sale also on AU PSN Store

    • Page Not Found. It's the Internets fault

      • He's mixed up.

        • Ah, cause the link there had en-au so was hoping.

  • For the ones that want to create a US PSN account on the top of their current AU account, you can follow that link:

    http://www.nowgamer.com/features/2176331/ps4_how_to_buy_us_d…

In that tutorial they buy a game from amazon, you can buy a gift card in exactly the same manner in order to take advantage of those 20$ games from the Playstation Store.

I have just done it, you can ask me questions if you have some.

    • Question, if I get a US PSN+ account.. and play AU Destiny on it.. will I be able to get DLC for the AU Destiny ?

      • Well, the point of getting a US PSN account is to get US games for cheaper than the AU ones. So there is not really any reason to play an AU game on the US PSN.

If you get the US Destiny you have to get DLC from the US PSN as well, otherwise it will not work. But you can play that game on your AU account.

Basically, use the US account to buy things, and use your AU one to play them.
