i think the only killer waiting for the lx9 whenever that is released if ever. lol
it cant be a rx100 killer if its m43 because it will be bigger.
If you're willing to go up in size to m43 why not go up in size a smidge more and go APSC and get an a6000?
I am hoping it will remain pocket size with a nice bump in tech (iphone5 -6 example)
Would have got the rx3 but it wasnt worth the upgrade from one until this price came along
with photokina coming now i wanted to inform others to be aware since there is unannounced tech
I am a massive fan and user of rx100 i
also there will be new 1 inch sensor cameras available (using sony sensor)
Perfect pocket camera, and the quality is better than my DSLR with that beautiful sensor !
Make sure you buy some LCD protectors as well as it tends to scratch easily.
Great price, however be warned that it is most definitely NOT Australian warranty.
It's grey market stock from hk so if anything goes wrong you have to return it to DWI.
Can confirm this is a great camera. I have the mark 1. I show people photos from my camera on nights out and the one thing everyone says is how nice the photos are. Depth of field + well lit are magical.
the rx100iii potential killer is here i told ya so

wow. this is a good price. considering launch was $999. surprised it has dropped so fast? i guess penalise the early adopters. but its only been out for a few months. guess it was priced a bit too high initially?
