Its handy to have an emergency supply of water, doesnt take much to have an areas water supply tainted (chemical runoff etc) i dont keep crazy amounts, just enough to remain hydrated for a week or so (3 slabs of these bottles of water and a 20L jerry)

And can effect rainwater as well.

Oh great now you got me paranoid.

What with the terror level being raised and all…

…or get it free from the sky

  • What sky water? Sure like anyone drinks that…

Remember 'Ice House' slabs being $5.00 back in 2011, and it was an exceptional deal then (we drink rainwater and use it for fundraising only).

Best-priced mineral water of late has been 600ml 12-packs (use-by late 2015) from our local Harris Farm Markets for $2.99 (cheaper than WW/Coles/Aldi/IGA). Has been that price for nearly 12 months.

Will probably continue to support Harris Farm in preference to the supermarket giants but still a good deal.

  • The cheapest I've seen.

    • I've seen them for $5 one time.

Everyone who buys bottled water is a fluoride denier with rotten teeth.
Science has declared you must ingest fluoride into your stomach to clean your teeth.

    • Fluoride does not clean your teeth. If you're going to be sarcastic, at least get facts straight.

        • +1

Yes, information from the worlds "#1 natural health website". Such strong evidence base. Strong claims of toxicity to infants. Did you know that H20, O2, anything in general is toxic to anyone in sufficient quantities?

I don't get information from websites that anyone can setup. I get information from peer reviewed journals that have been confirmed hundreds of times in different studies by different scientific organisations. You should too.

The point I was making was that fluoride strengthens teeth but does not clean it but anyway.

        • -1

@zhuang281: yes so keep it on your toothbrush not swallow it
do you understand the difference especially when people spend a lifetime of swallowing the small amounts it does add up. Also proven fact it is banned in many places and usa issued warnings not to give to infants yet here in au babies get formula with it. it gives bad reactions to some people and is mass medication without consent for entire populations. too much can cause teeth problems

        • +1

          @thelastnoob:

Not sure if serious of just trolling. What is banned in many places? Infant formula or fluoride? You do realise fluoride is in all natural water sources so good luck banning nature. Can someone find a free Udemy course on critical thinking and skepticism for you?

USA (CDC) issued warnings due to fluorosis http://www.cdc.gov/fluoridation/safety/infant_formula.htm

BTW, you do realise that publci water fluoridation doesn't just add fluoride to water and is about maintaining guideline levels of fluoridation. Sometimes that means removing fluoride. If you're seriously worried then get a water filter that removes fluoride.

You know what you should really be worried about? Dihydrogen Monoxide http://www.dhmo.org/facts.html
