People pay for lots of things. khey is correct, either way your paying for your water bill so no difference.
@iNeed2Pee: now im thinking how much extra are people paying when drinking from bottled water vs tap water.
@kehuehue: I would think it would be negligible tbh. I buy a few slabs out of convenience because my works water taste like crap.
@kehuehue: An old article, but still applicable…

Well, i lived in my parents house where the pipe hasn't been replaced for at least 30 years, which i am not sure its good enough for everyday drinking but washing clothes should be alright. In this case i choose to order bottle water from amazon and i think thats fine.
As a builder, no one changes their plumbing, unless it's a knockdown/rebuild.
I would consider older water mains is better as it made of copper, whereas newer houses use plastics. Given the fact water is abrasive, especially here in AU where the water is hard, the plumbing materials slowly leech into the water on a mirco-level, and it should go without saying copper it healthier for you than plastic.
People who have issues with people who pay for discounted bottle water deals make me laugh.
Bear in mind that 53% of plastic bottles we use nationally end up in landfill where they take anywhere from 450-1000 years to decompose. Think about what your convenience is really costing.
Guessing the downvotes are the ones buying the bottles. Predictable and sad.
dont you pay for your water bill?
