With all the Apple topics being discussed thought I'd create a topic that's not about the new iPhone.
What phone will you buy next (or are waiting for)?
Currently have a Nexus 5, awaiting the new Nexus whatever it will be called.

wait ……2x batteries for just to last the day?? why not get the Zerolemon pack or the official extended battery
Been rocking the G2 for 11 months now , geek in me wants the G3 (played with one oooo its sweet) but practically the G2 is fast battery lasts 2 days on average i make about 2 hrs of calls 50-100 messages daily, and get about 3-4hrs SOT out of a charge.
Will get something new come the new year , it will be Android it will have a 5"-5.5" screen it will have a large battery hoping 4000mAh+ will go back to something with a IP6x rating (miss my Xperia Z only cause of that) - will not be a Samsung.
The Nokia Lumia 730 in matte most likely.
im over all these bricks these phones are getting to big going back old school with 8250 with polyphonic ringtones
Good luck.
Currently on old skool iPhone 4s, was hanging out for a properly big iphone but the pricing on the 6/6+ is a bit ridiculous.
Have ordered a sony, will try android for a while, can always go back to ios if I can't get used to android. The temptation of crazy cheap prices (compared to apple), expandable memory etc is pretty appealing! Will keep my ipad around too.
which Sony?
Currently have the Note 3, will likely upgrade to the Note 4 or Edge.
Looking for around $400, better speed and other all aspects - probably LG G2
no real need to upgrade yet - will be using HTC M7 at least for the next 6 months. next phone will be the OnePlus Two. rumored to have micro sd slot. unless the OnePlus One becomes so cheap I can't resist… must. stop. coming. to. OzBargain.
Blackberry Classic, bb10 is seriously underrated + who actually can use touch screen keyboards? They drive me crazy
Me too. That's why I swipe
I have the HTC M7, out of contract, so looking at a new phone this weekend.
Looked at the oneplus one, but too impatient to wait for an invite to buy. Looked at the Sammy S5, but too wide.
I'm usually on my iPad mini, so don't need a big phone. I just use my phone for calls and texting.
You just need a phone for calls and texting according to you… So what's missing from your current phone?
it's not new anymore ?
Ehh?
I wouldn't replace something just because it's not new. But each to their own i guess.
Next Nexus for me as well. Either that or an Xperia Z3 or a Z2 if the price is right. I'm not a fan of any of the recent flagships so I'm hoping the Nexus lives up to my expectations. I had high hopes for the 2014 Moto X, but it turned out to be one of the ugliest things I've seen in a while. IMO, of course.
Waiting for Note 4 previously owns Note 2 and pretty good phone.
I want an iPhone 7 to bring me 2013.
Jokes aside, I'm eagerly waiting for the next Z phone from Sony since they seem to release new phones every 6 months now.
Z will almost guarantee rocking a screen like the LG G3, and hopefully the top and bottom parts of the phone will have shrunken. Also, not a fan of glass covers.
random china droid phone with min 2gb ram.
Probably LG G2. Anyone please tell me which is better S4 or LG G2, almost similar price,
thanks.
Both very decent phones, but I went for the Lg G2 because Kogan had it for $328. It comes down to preference — the biggest difference is the SD card slot and removable battery.
LG G2 over Galaxy S4
Bigger (5.2" over 5"), brighter screen
Compact design, almost the same size as S4
More powerful chipset - Snapdragon 800 over Snapdragon 600 / Exynos 5 Octa
Optical image stabilization
1080p video recording @ 60fps (vs. 1080p @ 30fps)
Bigger battery - 3,000mAh over 2,600mAh
Samsung Galaxy S4 over LG G2
Amoled screen has better contrast and viewing angles than LCD
Thinner (7.9mm vs. 8.9mm) and lighter (130g vs. 143g)
Expandable storage via a microSD slot
Removable battery
Split-screen multitasking vs. floating mini apps
The highly sensitive touchscreen can detect a hovering finger and works with gloves
Dual-SIM version
Z3 Compact for me :D
Typing on my new iPhone 6. Finally upgraded from an older blackberry!
So far so good.
I just found the cutest most petite Android smartphone in history. 2.45 screen with an iphone-esque design.

LOL, the wife wants a Note…might get her one of these as a joke! ;)
Looking at Z3 Compact. Always had a Sony phone for years now. Always happy with their phone design and performance.
Still rocking my Galaxy S3 4G with no plans to upgrade for a few years.
Got a second battery so it lasts the whole day easily.
