Its actually a pretty slow laptop once you load up a few programs… but i got it for the kids anyway..
Similar to this one but with 4GB RAM and free printer.

Shipping is flat rate $10 which seems good.Great deal and fine for browsing, movies, word processing.
Got one for the family. Cheers
Not bad…. I wonder if they will do it for under $300 without the printer and software.
I got this for 317$ from JB HIFI………….15% off price blitz plus 5% voucher in the email.Of course no Bonus Printer and Antivirus. But no need to pay any delivery charges and no waiting either. But be warned Celeron N2830 is a very weak CPU and is only good for browsing and emailing. I was shocked at how quickly the CPU usage went to 100% when i did anything else.I did not like the touchpad either. The battery life is good though.Seems to last at least 3 hours on battery.Speaker Sound is good as well.
Hey thanks techno2000, any other insights you notice please post. I am currently waiting for another N2830 laptop, the HP deal from a couple of weeks ago. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/159848
What else did you try that flogged out the CPU? Office?I will say its slow. I bought asus laptop with N2830 for my mother-in-law for 317$
as she just needs a basic one for browsing and emailing. But its a dog.
I cant believe how quickly it gets overwhelmed. I have a 1 year old core i3 desktop which runs rings around it. Just running a 720p you tube clip consumed 75% cpu usage. Gawd!!Tried to chromecast a browser tab and CPU usage went to 100% and on the TV the display was stuttering. The core i3 happily chromecasts a browser tab sitting at 30% cpu usage.
Steer far clear of the cheapo celerons if you want to do anything other than emailing and browsing. The HP you bought has only 2 GB of RAM. This asus has 4 GB. With 2 GB,even browsing will be a pain if you have too many browser tabs open.
Oh yes, first thing I'm going to do is upgrade the RAM.
Thats if they ever ship it…
Wish they would put something like a j1900/j2900 in these netbooks.
