These seemed reasonably popular last year so thought I would post again. The RRP of these in Australia is $49.95 (http://shop.lego.com/en-AU/LEGO-City-Advent-Calendar-60063), so if you can find at 20% off will come down to a similar price. Basically it is like a traditional advent calendar but you get a new toy every day instead of a chocolate! And a lego toy at that. Good for kids and big kids at heart! The link above is for the city calendar, there are also Star Wars calendars (approx $45 shipped) and Lego Friends calendars (approx $37).

And remember people, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

  As a point of interest, but not necessarily a better deal, Mr Toys / Toyworld in Australia has a whole bunch of LEGO Advent Calendars, different box numbers to the ones this post refers to, for prices ranging from $45 to $50.

    Those additional Star Wars and Friends calendars are last year's editions.

    Unfortunately their shipping makes them uncompetitive.
