  • Minimum spend $105 for 20 roses.
Much more expensive than at the flower markets.

    • In fairness, I'm sh*t at flower presentation, and the flower markets won't deliver to my lady friend at her workplace, so I'm prepared to pay a bit extra for the additional services! :-) (See my post below though, the effective $142.50 for two dozen roses is a bit of a stretch)

Call me old-fashioned, but I'd prefer a dozen, or two dozen, or three dozen roses. I know roses are sold at the flower markets in multiples of ten but, frankly, this new-fangled metric system - 10 or 20 or 30 roses - just seems really weird to me. The multiples of ten thing is odd, but not my problem.

$105 isn't a bargain for two dozen roses (note: this offer is only for 20, not 24) but it's a ~reasonable~ price, until you note the surprise!!! last-minute delivery fee that pops up right at the end. Suddenly, via the surprise delivery fee and the not-quite-two-dozen count, it's $118.50 or, effectively, $142.50 for two dozen roses… and THAT is too much.

I'll leave the 1000% mark up on the $30 value glass vase as an exercise for the reader!

Sorry, OP, we're pretty tough on what constitutes a bargain around here. This is OzBargain, not OzFreeAdvertising or OzStorePromo.
