In the next Dick Smith catalogue which starts on the 2nd of September, the new PS3 Slim 120GB with the Batman Arkham Asylum game ($RRP 119) will be $499.
I know some people are after the console itself for a cheaper price ($479 GAME online price only) and JB Hifi $494 with HDMI cable however if you're just after a game and the console Dick Smith probably has the best deal going around.

Just got back from Harvey Norman in City West. Deal there is $499 for the console with any game in stock in store (ps3 obviously and not guitar hero) + $50 for 2 years extended warranty.

City West, Perth. I got the extended warranty and Fuel as a game. Guy there was portly bearded guy in the back of the store. Said he was overstocked and happy to give any game.

Also some work places have programs that allow you to buy Wish cards for 5% off, e.g. $100 Wish card for $95.
You can use Wish cards are Woolworths owned stores, e.g. Dick Smith, Big W, Woolies, Woolies petrol.
There are many places not through work to do this.
I dont know why they arnt a bigger deal on here.
5% on things like consoles and apple products and petrol is a huge deal IMO
