Best option for international data (USA)

Hello,

I will be heading to the US for 3 weeks and need data on my iphone. No calling or SMS required. I've scoured the forums and found mixed reviews, and very few talk about the only data requirement.

Usage: Skype, WhatsApp (IM), Google Maps, Email
Location: California – metropolitan and remote

Last time I was there, AT&T had great coverage, but I don't need calling this time around, so looking for better value.

Any suggestions?
