Looking for some suggestion on a good 55-60" TV with reasonable price tag. I'm not interested in 3D or Smart but don't mind if the price is good. Just missed out on Samsung UA55H6400AW 55

4K or just FHD? There was a ripper deal here on a 58" 4K from overseas recently. I am waiting for another one of those to pop up and will jump.

But I am in market for 65" + TV and basically man I just check OZBargain each day and its only a matter of time until FHD 70" pops under the 1k mark :D I dont worry too much about brand etc, just google reviews once the deal pops up and snag it if its good.
Probably be some good deals in the lead up to Footy Finals.
Any TV worth buying will come with 3D and "Smart" functions (or at least it used to be the case). You don't have to use 3D, it's just a "mode" that the TV can operate in and doesn't cost any extra (unless you get 3D glasses included in the box, in which case I guess you'd be paying a small extra premium).
