I know a lot of you have just gone and ordered your BBQs/Webers etc due to the massive ebay sales well here is a Digital Thermometer that could come in handy!!

I know these have been on before and were around $2. This one is just over $3 and cheapest I could find out there from a reputable seller not on ebay. Feel free to find something cheaper!

    Would have posted that but as per ozbargain rules seller is not high profile enough and reputable enough to be posted so that was the best from a reputable seller.

      Did someone force you to post a deal for a digital BBQ thermometer? I'm not aware of any rule that prevents us searching and buying on Ebay if we needed one..

        @steff: Interesting, no one asked for your opinion but that didn't seem to stop you either.

        And it's 20% cheaper on Ebay. There is nowhere near a deal here. Just posting for the sake of it.

    With the type of probe on this thermometer, I'm not exactly sure how you would be able to use it in a medical sense.

    Further, hygiene-wise, I'm not sure you would want to use this for both culinary and medical purposes.

    Just saying :)

  We got 2 last time from one of the offers … they are junk … the probes come away from the body easily and the temp readings are far from accurate. IMHO total waste of money.

  I love a bargain but there's a difference between an irresistible offer and cheap Chinese-made junk. At $3.14US delivered, I can't imagine how much it cost to produce the item after shipping and handling has been factored in. Seems almost sinful to rob the planet of precious resources just to make something that is instantly destined for landfill.
