iPhone 5S 16GB $650 Delivered@eBay (Kogan)

50

Very good deal for the latest iPhone 5S. Any colour & Brand New. Yes it's Kogan, yes it's imported but it's Apple so it's exactly the same no matter where you buy it. Only thing you have to worry about is a non-Australian Wall Charger but Kogan will include an Australian one with the package (non-genuine). That's pretty much it, a no-brainer if you ask me.

Internation Warranty = You walk into an Apple Store with any issues (within first 12 months) and they will fix it

          yeah

    • The Apple warranty says they will fix "overseas" models with the parts available in the country it is repaired in if the parts are available. So depending on the problem will depend on if they will warranty the device. If its a screen fault it will be repaired as the screen is the same world wide. If its a faulty motherboard they might not repair it as depending on which country you got it. I would assume 99% of parts are the same world wide, unsure about the parts that do data/voice networks as they might differ in some countries.

        Link to this please.

As, all I can find are the standard Apple Warranty - for USA, Hong Kong, and Australia - which all contain this disclaimer:-

"IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE AND iPAD SERVICE.
Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone and iPad to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device."

        • @muncan:

I had returned a Japanese Iphone at Australia Apple store, they will order a Japanese one from Japan and ship it over to Australia, free of charge, under warranty of course.

Hearsay, and rather stupid as well. Why, not wait till one returns to Japan? What use is the Japanese iPhone here in Australia? Very, very, expensive roaming? Not worth it.

Where is the link to the Apple warranty statement that supposedly says:-

    Yeah, right. /sarc

Just so long as that Apple Store is in the USA. The iPhone 5s from the last Kogan HK deal were the USA Market model, and going by the LTE specs. so are these ones.

I had an USA model 5S replaced in Australia. Walked into the the Rundle Place (Adelaide) Apple store, they looked at my phone, then ordered a spare from Sydney. Picked up the replacement 2 days later. Not instant swap over like local stock, but they will fix it no worries.

A spare USA Model iPhone 5s? Wonder why there would be one in Sydney?

iPhone 6 is out in a few weeks.. might want to wait for official announcement to see what's new first. It might be a major improvement. I'm sure these prices will still be available after that.
