It must be just me, or is it?
WHO buys stuff like this, at these exorbitant prices? I am a bargain hunter like most of you here seem to be, but this is ridiculous, just my 2 cents.agree
crazy to see these products, at these prices, and you wonder why the supermarkets are killing it over smaller businesses
however, there is a market for these products, and on the flip side to the above comment, alot of producers feel they can only compete in these niche 'luxury' markets
in the end, this type of supply chain is usually a huge circle jerk of self-important tossers selling overpriced food to other self-important tossers, to people whom this type of produce attract, eating is for fashion not for food.
the only thing farmhouse direct has ever provided at an attractive price was beautiful hunter valley organic garlic grown by roger for patrice newell at $20/kg which i really enjoyed and am hoping will be offered again this year.
$20/kg for garlic?
Outrageous!
And who the hell is roger and who the hell is patrice newell?
Tastes like a dalek.
