Great price, bought for $88 from Dick Smith a while ago, but I kind of regret it since I don't use them at all …

I think you just listed the relationship between every Ozbargainer and their headphones.. xD

      • dam.. i bought them for $74 about 2 months ago..

Nice price, decent SQ, just terrible ANC.

    Really comfortable.

I honestly felt the ANC was good.

There's a line you walk with ANC, and I found these remove 100% of 'drones' from around you.
A fridge, a plane engine, road noise, all gone 100%.

Its just things like a loud bird sqwark or something, that really 99.9% of headphones remove poorly if at all; and the 'agressive' ANC ones often muddy the music during those events.

I didnt expect much from logitech; all their stuff is crap normally… but I own 3 pairs of these, and 2 of the smaller ones.

      • Hmm, from my testing (so far tested the philips ANC earbuds, PXC450 and the UE6000) i found that the UE6000 didn't remove anything with the ANC turned on, if anything it just boosted the bass.

The philips were the best as the ANC reduces really well, and because it is an earbud, the isolation for it is good too (works on higher frequencies). I personally don't like earbuds though… SQ was meh.

As for the PXC450 (got it for round $200 used) doesn't block out high frequencies but does a good job at the lower spectrum and generally better then the UE6000 in SQ even with ANC turned on (using EQ of course).

      • I hope you're right mate - i bought em to use on the plane. I mean its only $50, so worth the risk :)

The background noise is still there just lower volume. The best ANC are the Bose ones those really do mask background noise.

If you have music playing at a moderate volume you will be hard pressed to hear any background noise in the UE6000. This is based on my testing on my own ears so YMMV. On the train here I could only hear people talking and hardly any background noise.

The other good thing that people forget is these headphones work if the batteries die, so they work in passive mode as well. This is a huge plus.

Also available on their sister site Scoopon. Useful if you have $10 credit from their Myers deal a little while back.

    • Scoopon now also sold out of the EU6000

    • Ouch…..

Good to see the fedora's are out of bed already. I'll be seeing you guys brave the harsh daylight to display your new Logitech UE 6000 white™ edition which shield your precious auditory instruments from engaging in any human interaction. Chuck on a pair of pitch black sunnies and you're set to explore the world.

  • Tea, meet monitor!

Detachable cable was a big plus for me when I bought 'em a few months ago. Earphones always died at the y-split or plug. :( Great for library sessions when the posers and their homies don't know what the "quiet study area" is for ^_^ (no, I don't use the ANC).

    • Yeah the isolation on these are brilliant, so you shouldn't need ANC on for the library.

  • Think these are New or refurbished?

  • All sold out :{

  • Both black and white sold out.

  • Happy to get at around $41 after using scoopon $20 voucher), I doubt these go any cheaper than this. I missed out on them a while back at $30 US, but then it would have ended up costing more by the time I had them sent here.

    • +1

yeah, i don't think you'll get them any cheaper than that! good score!

for that price, they are ridiculous value, in my opinion! (i paid $99, and i think that was a good deal!)

  • The EU600 is all sold out, but they do have the smaller but also good EU400 on sale for $24.99.

    • No one would want to pay more than $14 for the UE4000 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/155221

      • I agree that was a better deal, but myself and many others missed out or had their orders cancelled from The Good Guys direct and on their ebay store. As it states in year linked earlier deal, "Previous low was $27" so technically this now @ $24.98 or $29.98 delivered ( for me in Northern New South Wales ) is the second best ever price or close to depending on whether the $27 was deliver or not. I have a big range of headphones big and small, and these are a nice sounding, well built compact headphone even worth much more. As they are discontinued now, this could be the last chance to grab new at a great price. Also they have a nice compact Philips On-Ear Headband Headphones - Black, that folds flat set for $14.99.

The one morning I'm out of the office and a deal for a product I've been waiting for a deal on goest out of stock.

    Just my luck. :(

  • Why always is the ue6000 on sale, not the ue9000????!!

  • I am guessing, but a lot of Logitech's EU range is discontinued, including EU600, Eu4000 and many more, maybe not the newer bluetooth EU9000 model.

  • Got mine today, a little underwhelmed but see what happens after a burn-in..

    • but see what happens after a burn-in..

Nothing much. These are over hyped.

      • I am happy with mine, I think they are well worth what I paid. :)
