    Russian Author - worried :|

I didn't think this sort of app was possible in iOS, ie. intercepting all HTTP communication over WiFi?

Surely a worry that none of the author's apps have ratings yet?

Edit: Just checked the other app mentioned here. It sends all your internet activity through a third-party web proxy? Seriously?

yeah all the ad blocks for iOS I have seen rely on the ability to run your requests through a proxy.
If you don't want to trust others you could roll your own - getadtrap.com.
I have one of these and it works well as an internal filter (strapped to the router) but I haven't used the proxy service from outside as my internet is pathetically slow.

      • Fair enough. I find it pretty incredible that at least 10 people here think it's a good idea to send all their internet traffic through the servers of a developer with no feedback located in Russia :S

  • not free anymore.
