Struggling to picture a ceiling fan in a kitchen… A ceiling fan looks like an exposed propeller on the ceiling and blows air around the room, usually for cooling, whereas an exhaust fan is usually a grille on the ceiling or wall which sucks air and vapour out of the room.

I'm after a ceiling fan not an exhaust fanMasters had some on clearance. Check your local store if you have one.
Whereabouts do you live? That will affect how good a fan you need to get.
