Any deals in QLD? They ended their $1 cheeseburger at 12PM-1PM last week.

  • I didnt get in my mail.

do they accept print out or phone?

    • +1

You might have gotten it in the mail, I spotted someone in the neighbourhood scouting the letter boxes for HJ and Macca's coupons last time they were mailed out, maybe he went to your neighbourhood and took them too?

where do you live? i think rifling through other people's letter box is actually a federal offence (not sure if it applies to junk mail though hehe)

      • CAN SOMEONE ANSWER HIS QUESTION PLEASE?

WILL THEY ACCEPT PRINT OUTS ?

I WOULD LIKE TO BULK PRINT THIS AT WORK :D

        • Yes I have used print outs before

        • You can not use print outs at Bunbury Parks center Mac.
          :(

        • @kdavies: Think its luck, try another store mate. I used 1 this morning in WA

I took advantage of the $1 espresso pronto voucher this morning at the William St store in Perth city.

First, not being a regular McD customer (only go there when I can get things super cheap), I walked up to the McCafe and stood at the counter. This middle aged lady barked at me. I thought she said "I'll be with you in a sec", but it turns out after she stared at me weird, she actually said "What do you want?".

I handed over the carefully cut out coupon and he said "Ohh, what is this?" as she turned to look for reading glasses, letting out a sigh like I was interrupting her day.

She then shoves the voucher in my face and barks "You have to go to the front counter". I said politely "wow, you're a really nice person aren't you?" with a sarcastic, but friendly tone - she just smiled and I walked off.

Got to the front counter and the lovely young girl was polite and well mannered, even though she didn't know what the voucher was (had never seen it before). She ended up putting it through the till as a small cappuccino then just asking someone behind her to make sure it was a standard size regardless of what the screen and receipt said.

tl;dr rude as hell customer service from the old cranky menopausal lady, nice service from a friendly staff member and to be honest it was pretty good for fast food chain coffee.

    • I would contact mcdonalds fb page and complain about her

get that alot these days. plenty of disgruntled middle-old age people stuck in retail/service with a horrible attitude. Be the better person, take it in stride.

      • It's all good. I've had a nice productive day today, no point in letting people like that get you down.

        • +1

Yes but things will never change if customers don't bring it to their attention

    • Cool story.

Ozbargain Top Tip: Get as many as you can and freeze them for later consumption.

  • Tried print out copy at livingston MCD, they don't accept :(

    • You got unlucky I just went to Midland (Perth) and got the 2 free cheeseburger deal. They hadn't seen the deal before but honoured it

    • As in Livingston shops in Canning Vale?

PS I'm guessing it should be printed out in colour?

  • Was excited until I see WA..

  • Woohoo! Geraldton represent!

  • If only it was "Buy One McFlurry Hack Get one Free"

  • +1

He didn't accept my print out because it wasn't in colour.
That's racist man, what if I can't afford a colour printer!?

  • A coupon for 2 FREE Cheese Burgers with Big Mac Purchase + More Buy 1 Get 1 Free Offers @ McDonalds WA Only (listed in ozbargin)

A staff advise "We are not allowed to use photocopies." I was asked again "Where I can get that official copy?" She even can't answer and check with other staff. No answer where I can get. A voucher never mentioned photocopy not allowed and the staff also don't know where can get it from?

  • In regards to promotions and any coupons McDonalds are currently running, I would advise you to look at our official website to ensure that the deal you have seen has actually come from McDonalds Australia. Here is our website for future reference: https://mcdonalds.com.au/.

As the coupon you have seen was on Ozbargin and not from McDonalds Australia, this is why the crew person did not accept this.
