I love my DS4 but having real consistency issues / reliability problems attaching it to Windows.
I've used it on my PC fine, because I could easily open / close the app to talk to the DS4 via BT but on my HTPC it's bloody annoying to have to reach for the keyboard all the time, stop and start stuff etc.
Not saying I wouldn't consider one if you want to use it on your PC but be prepared for it not being a dead simple task.
It's a shame too, because the reality is, it's a very powerful controller, it's got audio / in / out and a touchpad. Wish someone would code up some actually decent drivers for it.
I think you've come to the wrong place
@hamwhisperer: Which fork are you using?
@jobler: It's his purchase. He can use it how ever he wants. If he wants a HTPC that's way more powerful and a heap more features than a console, why's it effect you?
I've got 2 DS4's - they came with my PS4. A lot of PC gamers here might be considering one for their PC though. I wish I could use it flawlessly on both.
EDIT and I've tried 2 - DS4Tool, the original one and some new one with the really laggy, crappy UI .
I didn't realise DS4 meant dual shock 4 controller. Without this understanding I thought he was in the wrong forum and meant to post it somewhere else.
My apologies goes out to you all.
Fair enough.
Slightly unrelated, but what is the best deal for a PS3 now? My accumulated PS3 games from PS+ are really tempting me.
